How
do I clean my teapot and/or maintain my bamboo
whisk?
To clean
your teapot fill it halfway with clean water and
shake the pot gently back and forth to get the
leaves off the net. Then rinse it thoroughly with
clean water. You only need to use dish soap about
once in every 20 times you clean the teapot.
To wash
the whisk fill a bowl half full of water and rotate
the whisk in the clean water. Then rinse it gently
under the fawcett. Stand the whisk upright to let it dry.
After several
uses the bamboo will became stained green. This
is normal, the whisk is still good. If you use
the whisk twice a day, every day, a single whisk
should last 2 to 3 months.
